A French restaurant where you can savor local ingredients and culture 「L’Arbre」
Located a few minutes by car from the area in front of 「Musashi-Itsukaichi Station」 toward Hinode, this fine dining French restaurant opened in October 2023 in a renovated historic residence known as the 「Kozukue Family House」, an approximately 150-year-old building designated as a Tangible Cultural Property of Tokyo.
The chef, Naoki Matsuo, honed his skills as a sous-chef at 「Les Saisons」, the main dining room of the Imperial Hotel. With the theme of 「French cuisine × local terroir × culture」, he opened this restaurant with the aim of offering a new way to experience the charm of Tokyo through food.
The course menus feature a rich selection of fresh and appealing ingredients, including vegetables and herbs grown by the chef himself in Akiruno using natural farming methods, Tokyo Wagyu beef, Tokyo Shamo chicken, and locally produced goat cheese. Renowned for flavors that impress even the most discerning gourmets, the restaurant now attracts food lovers from far beyond the local area.
