Stop by KO52TAKAO, a hub in front of Takao Station
with a craft beer taproom and a café.
Located right in front of the south exit rotary of Keio Railway Takao Station and JR Chuo Line Takao Station, KO52TAKAO is a community space created by Keio Corporation where residents and local businesses connect. The building houses a variety of shops, including places to enjoy craft beer and coffee, as well as a trail running shop. If you visit Mt. Takao, this is a great spot to stop by and explore.
On the second floor you will find the brewery and taproom of the craft beer brand Takao Beer. It is open from Thursday to Sunday, 12:00–19:00 (closed Monday–Wednesday). The food menu is also extensive, making it a great place to visit after hiking Mt. Takao. On the same floor there is also a coffee shop called BoAdam. It opens from 8:30 on weekdays, making it a convenient meeting spot (open until 17:00; on weekends 10:00–18:00; closed on Wednesdays).
The fourth floor includes shops such as STRIDE LAB Takao, which sells running shoes and sports gear, and the trail running specialty brand Answer4. On the fifth floor you will find Yama Therapy Clinic, run by trail runners and outdoor guides. If you have time, it is well worth exploring the building.
