A curated selection of carefully crafted items by local makers The area’s HUB shop 「Goendo」
Opened in October 2024 in front of 「Musashi-Itsukaichi Station」, this shop features a wide range of carefully selected products chosen by owner Toshiyuki Ishikawa. The lineup includes craft beer, locally produced wine, organic coffee beans, Spanish olive oil, fermented foods, creamed honey, locally made rice-flour cookies, snacks to enjoy with alcohol, books, and works by local craft artists, all displayed in abundance.
True to its name, 「Goendo」 brings together products created by makers connected to Ishikawa through five kinds of 「en」: local ties, personal connections, food, fermentation, and agriculture. Visitors can purchase items while listening to the stories behind them. Thanks to Ishikawa’s warm personality, the shop is becoming a regional HUB where people, goods, and information naturally gather. It is also highly recommended as a souvenir stop when traveling around the Akigawa Valley area.
