Kitayama-kouen Park
Kitayama-kouen Park is a nature-rich park set against the hills of Sayama-kyuryo. Many plant varieties grow naturally in the park. The best highlight is the Shoubuda where 300 species, 8,000 bulbs, and 100,000 irises grow. The “Higashimurayama Shoubu-matsuri festival” is held in June, the middle of flowering season. The park’s pond and many wild birds gathering about it are also one of the many attractions.
