These popular natural hot springs are surrounded by unspoiled nature and near to many famous cherry blossom trees at “Otsu Hana no Sato (Otsu Flower village)”. The hot springs are famous for the idea of “Hot springs for beautiful skin”. Water is brought up from a depth of 1,500 meters and is of high alkalinity. You can see the fresh green of the Akigawa River Valley from the outdoor bath and it is also possible to observe stars if it clears up at night.
