Privacy policy

The policies (hereinafter referred to as “the Policy”) concerning the handling of private information in relation to the services offered by the Tokyo Federation of Societies of Commerce and Industry and the Tama Council for the Promotion of Tourism Executive Office (hereinafter referred to as “the Council”) through this website are outlined below:

Article 1
Management of Personal Information

In order to maintain the user’s personal information in an accurate and up-to-date manner, the Council has implemented the necessary security systems management and maintenance policies, and employee education programs etc. to protect our users’ personal information from unauthorized access, loss, damage, changes and leaks.

Article 2
Purpose of using personal information

The personal information obtained from our users will be used by the Council for the purpose of contacting users, the transmittal of business information and the response of questions. This will be done through electronic and posted mail.

Article 3
Prohibition of the disclosing to or sharing of personal information with third party individuals

The Council shall properly manage the personal information deposited by the user, and unless the following holds true, personal information will not be disclosed to third party.

    When permission is granted by the user.

    When the user requests services that require the Council to entrust merchants with information pertinent to the completion of said user-requested business.

    When required to disclose said personal information by law.

Personal Information Security Policies

In order to accurately and safely maintain personal information, the Council has implemented a strong security policy.

Article 5
Individual Inquiries

If an individual user inquiries, seeks to correct, or wishes to delete personal information, said actions will be permitted upon the confirmation of the person’s identity.

Article 6
Laws, Standards and their Observance and Reconsideration

As necessary, in accordance with those Japanese laws concerning the appropriate use of personal information and the observance of said standards, the Council will reconsider contents of the Policy and implement improvements.
